The day following their wedding , we picked up Nathan and Andrew and took them to a town near their resort for their Urban and Beach session . It was an amazing experience and we are in love with all their photos.
“We weren’t really sure what to expect, but it was clear that the photography team had years of experience doing this. Many of the locals knew them and they were great at finding the perfect shot. They both have an amazing eye for spotting the perfect background and setting up amazing, artistic pictures. My husband and I aren’t models in real life but they provided enough direction and ideas to make us really look and feel like models throughout the shoot.
I loved interacting with people in a real Dominican community and everyone we met was extremely gracious and amicable. I was nervous about being a gay couple in a foreign country and showing affection on camera in front of strangers. But I never felt uncomfortable at all. People happily let us stand in front of their homes or businesses, invited us into a barbershop, and showed us the art of cigar making. It was so much fun and one of my favorite parts of the entire week we were there.
After we wrapped up the Urban shoot, we drove a short distance to one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. The background was insanely gorgeous and once again, Renaud and Severine set up and positioned for the best pictures. At first it was weird to get wet in the formal clothes we just got married in, but once in the water it was so much fun.”
When people see the pictures of our urban and beach session they are always shocked at how incredible they are. Not to be biased ;), but I have never seen such beautiful pictures. The color, background, positioning, and beauty in every single shot is stunning. I loved hanging out with Renaud and Severine. I can’t express how much I appreciate their professionalism and creativity in every picture. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone that wants more than ordinary, standard wedding pictures. The shoots are fun experiences and the pictures are works of art to cherish forever.” Nathan + Andrew
