Sasha and George were our second brave couple to try the Underwater cave session. We love this place so much even if it very challenging for us. It is very intimate and there is a very special energy there. We headed to the little Bayahibe creek for the beach part.
The underwater love session was one of the most fun experiences we’ve had in a long time. It was something we were looking forward to almost as much as we were looking forward to the wedding itself. From the trip to the cave, with scenic commentary courtesy of Rodrigo, to watching Renaud set up the lighting inside the cave, to trying to conquer my super long train underwater, this was truly an experience we can highly recommend to anyone not afraid of a challenge.
Although both George and myself swim relatively well (in bathing suits), swimming in a wedding dress was quite different .But the Love and Sea team made it manageable, not stressful and very fun. Rodrigo and Severine gave good tips and suggestionsand made us feel safe. They were also patient as we attempted to look graceful underwater. The underwater trash the dress was something nobody we know has done and we are extremely excited to get to say we have experienced it. After all, how many brides can say they’ve swam in a cave in their wedding gown?
